The Data Lab is delighted to offer a limited number of funded tickets to Data Summit, happening 2-3 November at the EICC in Edinburgh

Data Summit is Scotland’s leading conference for data and AI innovation. As the world undergoes a data and AI renaissance, we invite residents and businesses from the Scottish Highlands and Islands to join us at the forefront of leading conversations in the field.

The Highlands and Islands have a unique position to harness the power of data and AI. This region, known for its rich history and natural beauty, is increasingly becoming a hub for data and AI, creating exciting job opportunities and fuelling advancements in research and education.

Key sectors, such as renewable energy, marine research, space and tourism, intertwine with data and AI. The optimisation of renewable energy production, data-driven marine conservation, the increasing availability and variety of space data, and personalised tourism experiences are just a few examples of how these technologies will impact the region’s future.

Data Summit is your gateway to understanding how data and AI shape the human experience across all aspects of life, from culture to sustainability, privacy to disinformation, and even religion to space travel. With thought leaders like Paolo Benanti, AI advisor to the Vatican, and Katherine Rahill, Senior Scientist of NASA’s Human Research Division, sharing their insights, you’ll gain a unique perspective on the global impact of AI.

Connect with international experts, scientists, journalists, artists, and professionals from industry, the public sector, and academia. You can also participate in discussions, fireside chats, and keynote sessions featuring luminaries like Anna Brailsford, CEO and Co-Founder of Code First Girls, and Colin Jarvis, applied AI solutions architect at OpenAI.

In a world where AI and data are shaping our future, attending Data Summit 2023 is not just an opportunity; it’s a necessity. Join us in Edinburgh to be part of the AI Renaissance and discover how data and AI can drive positive change in your region.
