The Data Lab, in collaboration with Scottish Development International (SDI), are delighted to support a limited number of places to attend the Stata Data Conference in New York, taking place 12 & 13 September 2018.
(There is also a one-day Findata conference on Tuesday, 10 September 2018. If you would like to attend this, SDI will be covering the cost of the pass – please contact David Crossan at SDI for more details.)
Strata Data Conference is a 2-day immersion in the most challenging problems, intriguing use cases, and enticing opportunities in data today. Leading minds in technology and business will take the stage to share their expertise and ideas, covering everything essential in data today. Strata Data Conference brings the data community together to explore compelling case studies, proven best practices, effective new analytic approaches, and exceptional skills.
The Data Lab are offering fully-paid passes for the event, and SDI are complementing the offer with a travel & accommodation grant*. In addition, we will organise a full visit program to include meetings and networking events with key relevant organisations.
Companies should note that places are limited and these will be allocated based on the relevance for both the applying organisation, and their representative. This Learning Journey is targeted at senior leaders at CTO level or equivalent. Applications will be assessed with regards to their fit with the objectives of the Learning Journey and their ability to derive benefits / insights for Scotland from their participation. Participating companies will also need to commit to a post-event survey and testimonials regarding outcomes delivered.

* Company is part of Scottish Enterprise’s relationship-managed portfolio i.e. has an SE Account Manager.
* The company has a defined export strategy.
* The Strata conference is part of, but not the only element of, their export strategy.
